i have a bed - that is painted - what step do I go thru to refinish - what type of paint?

1What do you mean by refinishing. IF you want a completely new finish, then start with a chemical stripper made for the material the furniture is made from.
Then clean it very good, and sand lightly before applying the new finnish.
