What would it take to open a furniture shop?
Answers:
1Just my opinion, but depending on locale and competition, it might be easier to open a used furniture shop, especially if you are good at repair and touchup.
A "new furniture" store would likely require a good line of credit, a credit account so that customers can used their credit cards, showroom space, storage space, wholesale deals with suppliers, trucks and drivers for delivery (not necessarily employees), bookkeeper, sales personnel, advertising, business banking account, payroll, tax advisor, large parking lot and location, location, location. I'll bet I missed a few. Good luck.
