BRAND HISTORY
1985

FLO’s story began in 1985, rooted in a family-run furniture factory established by Pairoj and Laddawan Pitiswat under the name Pitiswat Furniture Company Limited. What started as a small-scale manufacturing business steadily grew through decades of dedication, craftsmanship, and continuous development.
1994

The family factory entered a new phase of growth and was formally established as Furnist Industries Company Limited, with an 8,000-square-meter production facility in Nonthaburi Province. This marked the beginning of a more structured manufacturing operation, initially focused on steel furniture such as folding tables, folding chairs, and steel beds.
1997

As production capabilities continued to evolve, the factory expanded into upholstered furniture. This development introduced a new range of products including sofas, padded chairs, and upholstered beds and reflected the company’s growing expertise in both comfort-driven design and material craftsmanship.
2003

A major turning point came in 2003, when the factory expanded once again to include the production of solid wood furniture. With this development, the facility grew to over 16,000 square meters, employed more than 300 people, and strengthened its capacity to produce both domestic and international market collections.
2013

In 2013, Naroot Pitisongswat, a graduate of the Industrial Design Program at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, began working at the family factory with the vision of elevating its creative potential and product quality. This vision led to the founding of FLO
2014

This vision led to the founding of FLO in 2014, developed from Naroot’s university thesis as an opportunity to unlock the factory’s full creative potential. The brand made its official debut at the Thailand International Furniture Fair 2014 (TIFF 2014), introducing its first two collections and marking the beginning of a new chapter in design-led furniture making.
2022

In 2022, FLO opened FLOHOUSE, its first flagship store, on an 800-square-meter site in Sukhumvit 36 (BTS Thonglor). More than a showroom, FLOHOUSE was designed as a multi-purpose destinationbringing together a furniture and home décor store, a design bookstore, a café, an exhibition space, and FLO’s own design studio under one roof.
2026

By 2026, FLO had continuously expanded its design language and product offering, growing to more than 40 collections that serve a wide range of spaces and lifestyles. Today, FLO’s products are available not only across Thailand, but also in international markets including the United States, the Netherlands, India, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Singapore.
