Trainee Project Journal Part 2
จากการสเก็ชเราก็เริ่มทำแบบจำลองสามมิติ โดยแฟรงค์เลือกใช้ไม้สองชนิด ที่มีสีโดยธรรมชาติต่างกัน นำมาต่อเข้าด้วยกับด้วยการต่อไม้แบบต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น การใช้เดือยหางเหยี่ยว ( dovetail ) การต่อแบบฟิงเกอร์จ๊อยท์ ( fingerjoint ) หรือการต่อด้วยการลามิเนต ( laminate ) ซึ่งล้วนเป็นจ๊อยท์ที่มีความสำคัญและใช้กันมากในเฟอร์นิเจอร์ไม้
หลังจากที่แบบเสร็จเรียบร้อย เราก็เริ่มลองผลิตชิ้นแรกครับ โดยเริ่มจากการคัดเลือกไม้ก่อน โดยตัวอย่างตัวแรกที่เราทำเราใช้ไม้สัก และไม้สน ที่มีสีตัด และต้องคัดเลือกลายให้มีความใกล้เคียง นำมาขึ้นรูปเพื่อต่อกันครับ
ตอนต่อไปเราจะเห็นเป็นรูปเป็นร่างมากขึ้นแล้วนะครับ โดยแฟรงค์นี่ลงไปทำด้วยกันกับช่างไม้ของเราเลยครับ : D
Trainee Project journal Part 2
After sketched, Franck did a 3D modeling, which he chose two kind of wood to joint to gather by different kind of joint such as, dovetail joint, fingerjoint, laminated which are the important joint and use widely on furniture making.
When we finished the design, we move to make the first prototype. Started from select to wood, we use Teak and Pine which has different color by nature. After that we cut it in the shape of the joint and connect it together
The next part will be final part and we will see the outcome! which Franck will working with our craftsman.
